Pathway
to Parenthood

Financial barriers should never be the end of someone’s dream of becoming a parent.

Sometimes possibility exists. Access does not.

Pathway to Parenthood Foundation (PTPF) is a Nigerian nonprofit that co-funds 30% to 50% of eligible IVF and surrogacy costs for approved applicants who cannot otherwise afford treatment.

For many people, the pathway to parenthood is already known. A doctor has explained the options. IVF or surrogacy has been recommended. The next step is clear.

What stands in the way is cost. A single IVF cycle in Nigeria can cost several million naira, and treatment often takes more than one attempt.

That is the gap PTPF exists to help close.

We help bridge
the financial gap

For approved applications, PTPF co-funds 30% to 50% of eligible treatment costs. Support depends on meeting our criteria and on the funds available at the time.

PTPF co-funds rather than fully funds because every family should hold a stake in its own journey. Approved funding is paid directly to the treating provider, never as cash to individuals, and every payment is recorded against an approved application.

What we will always be honest about

We do not promise outcomes.

PTPF funds access to treatment. We do not diagnose, prescribe or guarantee pregnancy. Clinical decisions stay between you and your doctor.

Not every application can be approved.

Support depends on meeting our criteria and on the funds available at the time. Every applicant receives a decision, and if your application is not approved, we will tell you why.

Stronger together

Closing the fertility-access gap takes more than one organisation. PTPF works with fertility clinics, hospitals, companies, foundations and institutions who share that goal.
