Common questions
Where does my donation go?
Every gift goes into a governed PTPF fund. When an application is approved, PTPF pays 30% to 50% of the eligible treatment cost directly to the treating provider, never as cash to an individual. Each payment is recorded against a specific approved application, and we will report on how funds are used as our programmes begin.
Can I give from outside Nigeria?
Gifts are currently received in naira by bank transfer. For international gifts, please contact us and we will arrange the best route.
Are donations to PTPF tax deductible?
No. Donations to PTPF are not currently tax deductible in Nigeria.
Can I get a refund?
If you made a donation in error, email info@theptpf.org within seven business days of the transfer and we will refund it.
